Transfer Case Sump Cover - Series

The replacement sump cover does not suffer with the differential temperature distortion and transfer case oil temperature is reduced as heat is dissipated through the cooling fins. Transfer Case Dipstick Kit - Series

This dipstick assembly is designed to screw into the filler/level plug hole on the aft side of the transfer case. You can check the oil level from inside the cab by lifting the middle cover. The dipstick is then immediately accessible. Top up oil by undoing the top cover. A much cleaner/easier way of checking the oil level.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN DISC BRAKE CONVERSION KIT

The disc brake conversion can be fitted to any *Series Land Rover equipped with 16 inch rims (wheels). The kit provides all the components necessary to convert the front axle from drum brakes to 11 inch vented disc brakes - these will consistently stop your Land Rover in a shorter distance, a straighter line and generally a much more predictable manner - essential elements when driving your Series vehicle on the roads in today's traffic. All the maintenance required to keep the old drum brakes operating satisfactorily is virtually eliminated.
(*Late model Series III (1980 >)with metric size wheel bearing require the stub axles & bearings to be replaced with older style imperial size)
Installation is a straight forward process. The old drums, hubs and backing plates are removed and the new dual piston calipers, vented 11" discs and custom hubs are installed using the stub axle bolts that hold the original drum brake backing plate in place. No alteration to any other component is needed.
You will be amazed at the improvement in braking ability!

SANTANA TYPE DISC BRAKE CONVERSION

This lower cost alternative to the RM vented brake kit is based on the Santanta disc brake it is supplied with everything that is needed to fit to the Series front axle. A small amound needs to be grownd off the swivel housing casting to allow the calipers to fit.

The Mintex pads and Brembo discs are readily available, wheel bearings (supplied)are standard Series type. For post 1980 (metric) S3 the stub axles will have to be replaced to earlier type.

The Rocky Mountains grille is an attractive and durable replacement for the unfortunate moulded plastic part installed on the Land Rover Series III.
Rocky Mountain manufactured this galvanised steel grille that is designed to be fixed to the body of the vehicle by using self tappers (the grille itself is pre-drilled) so that it not only looks better but won't flap around or come off accidentally; will stand years of abuse and enhance the appearance of your vehicle. Engine

Spin On Oil Filter Adaptor

The unit is precision machined from solid aluminium alloy. It mounts to the engine block using two 7/16th bolts that hold the older canister-type filter in place. A new gasket and mounting washers are supplied with the unit.

There are two ports on the unit to accept an oil pressure gauge (optional) and oil pressure switch (required) – one is threaded 3/8 B.S.F. to accept the Land Rover oil pressure switch; the second hole comes fitted with a removable plug or it can be used with the supplied adaptor to connect a mechanical pressure gauge if required.

The filters are such as supplied to later Land Rover vehicles and, therefore, common replacement filters are available (e.g. Purolator L17200; Kralinator L16, Fram PH43, Mahle 06261 or UFI ERR3340)
